The Unplanned King Charles Gig.

About a week ago at 1am my friend texted me to ask if I wanted to go Reading the next day to see King Charles. Naturally I said yes, so after uni I dropped off my stuff and got on a train, well missed a train then got on the next one... It would appear that my early morning decisions are the best ones. The gig was incredibly intimate and one of my ears was a little deaf the next day (standing at the front problems). It almost tops Imagine Dragons as my favourite gig of all time, almost I cannot get enough of those guys. Charles came across very calm onstage if not a little tipsy by the end, but it all just added to the atmosphere. If you ever get the chance to see this guy live do, he is a wonderful performer and gerneral human being, as are the band.

XO, Miriam

Imagine Dragons

Well is was postponed and was last night, and it was the best night this year.

Tiptoe Higher.

Lift your feet off the ground and feel the music go straight to your heart, listen as your heartbeat changes and everyone in the room becomes friends for and hour or so because the music has the same effect. Scream the lyrics as loud as you can because you can and no one will judge you, jump up and down, dance, and sway. Let the music change you. Spend the entire night on tiptoes because you are stood behind the worlds tallest human being, but most of all smile. Imagine Dragons were amazing last night, and all I want is to be right there forever, because in that moment I felt infinite and it was the happiest I have been this year. Music is more powerful than anything else at bringing people together well said Dan, Ben, Wayne, Daniel and Wolfman.

P.S. I love the fact that the pictures are blurred the lights are bright and the music was so damn good I don't care.

#TheUploadTour

#TheUploadTour or in other words what to wear at a gig during the non-summer months.

So yesterday I went to "The Upload Tour" which had 4 youtubers and singer/songwriters were performing! It was quite an intimate gig (You got to talk to the acts and hugs them etc.) And I cannot put into words how excited I was about the fact the gig was on a boat! It was on a BOAT, that in itself was amazing, don't get me started on the fabulous music.

One minor hiccup which earned me a new nickname, Dave J Giles picked me out, asked my name (Miriam), misheard and called me Maria...

The Acts with their linked you tube chanels:

Now for what to wear!

As I was meeting a friend during the day first I went for an outfit that was easy to switch between day and night!

Quick change into a Tom Law tee half way through followed by the addition of a wristband and a signed Tom Law EP and I think we are done!
