The Writing Bit...
Sharp edges and corners lined with fading silver, off white sides stained with coffee mug stains. It is no more than a box until it is opened, contained inside is something so powerful it can change the way people see you. Under the layers of crisp thin tissue paper, sits an dress, made for no-one in particular if it fits it's yours for now at least. High-necked, low backed so it skims the wears skin just above the waist, there the dress became dramatically smaller, and what followed was layer upon layer of pure silk with french lace, laced between down to the floor.
The Fashion/Beauty Bit...
Whilst re-arranging my make-up box I found several pots of shimmery eyeshadow I decided I would test a few out!

All that glitters is golden, well that's what they say. But how can that be true, when the sun shines everything glitters. Today was different though, she awoke shaking on the floor, the space above her span and swirled. This wasn't the way she imagined it to end. Fragments of the last mornings events were but wisps of smoke compared to the throbbing in her side.
I feel I ought to explain, although it is somewhat difficult. You see it all began as a game, like many tales do, except that the game was her own. A game in which she made and broke the rules.
(I am trying a new technique of writing. The idea is to write a short beginning of a story based on a key word from my Outfit Of The Day picture.)
All that glitters.
