While I was in Jaipur I was in one of the many fabric shops in the Old City, when I spied this lovely block printed fabric which I proceeded to barter for and buy. When I bought it I though about using it as a wall hanging at university, but after assessing the space in university halls I chose to create a duvet cover out of it. So I headed out to the local fabric shop to find some fabric suitable for a bed linen, I ended up purchasing this wonderful blue material. Having measured up current duvet cover and adding 2 inches for seam allowance I pinned the two fabrics together and began to sew. then I added buttons and button holes by hand for want of a machine that can do button holes! Next up a quilt!

Baking for me at least is therapeutic, it helps me to calm down and stop worrying about life. If I am stressed I will bake bread as the kneading will release the stress. When I am worried or feeling down I will bake cookies or cakes as they are comfort food. The process of baking is a patient one and one that I will enjoy for years to come.
Ingredients:
55g of softened butter
55g of caster sugar
1 large egg
85g of self raising flour
1tbsp of cocoa powder
8 squares of plain chocolate
How to make them:
- Preheat the oven to 190°C, and put 8 paper cases into a tray.
- Beat the butter and sugar together, then beat in the egg with a tablespoon of flour to prevent curdling.
- Mix in the rest of the flour and the cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth.
- Spoon half the mixture into the paper cases and put in a square of chocolate. Then put the rest of the mixture on top.
- Bake for 20minutes and leave to cool.
- I personally added chocolate butter-cream and raspberries but they taste just as good with icing sugar sprinkled on top and eaten warm.

Well you see being a tall mademoiselle in this current clothing market
is quite difficult, especially when investing in jeans. Mainly because
for 2 extra inches of fabric I have to pay and extra £20ish. So when I
saw Isabel Marant's patchwork pink jeans last year I thought that when
my jeans begin to fall apart I should ad patches to them:
S/S'12 Isabel Marant Jeans
My old worn jeans.
Patches of denim in different washes to add to my jeans.
The final design pinned on to the jeans, ready to sew!

- Jumper: Street Stall in Bath -
-Jeans: Topshop/Moi -
-Cupcake print in the corner: A sweet present from a friend -
Now to wear these jeans to death again and repeat the process, if you do this or have ever done this comment below and tweet me a picture @coffeechanel
