All The Best People Are.

Hooray for another rambling post! If you have read my little about page then you will know I adore Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. This is by far one of my favourite quotes from the novel it is one of those quotes than when I am feeling stressed out or out of control in any situation it can calm me down. I have been using this quote along with a whole host of others to get me through what I call the "stressful packing stage" before I head off to university on Saturday.

Up next is the "oh my gherd I am actually moving stage" where I will freak out that I have forgotten something and worry that I won't be able to stick to my budget that I have set out...

P.S. Anyone at university have any advice for me coming in?

The Roof Tops of York.

So over this bank holiday weekend my family and I went on a trip to the North of England to visit my friend Eleanor from Green and Aquamarine. So naturally we took a trip to York where we drank a lot of tea, walked around the walls and rummaged through a few quirky and vintage shops. I have been to York a few times before but I haven't really payed too much attention to all of the different buildings across the city. The mix of different buildings from different eras has a certain charm to it that not all cities have and I love as you will be able to tell by my choice of city to study in along with my love of Bath.

Dreaming instead of sleeping.

I have been loving this smock dress from Pull & Bear lately, it is so comfy and versatile to wear that I can see it becoming a weekly appearance during the summer months.  So naturally I wore it for my first exam of the season, with some plain black leggings from H&M, and my mums Levis jacket. For me this is a go to outfit when I need to be comfy and look put together at the same time. And I couldn't resist to put on my cat ears that I made for the RED tour!

You guessed it, I just had to wear some frilly socks from Topshop and some tan leather brogues from Clarks. In my opinion you cannot go into an exam hall without some preppy style straight out of Blair Waldorf's style book!
